Concussion Coaching:

Heal, recover, and return to adventure with expert guidance.

Concussion recovery doesn’t have to feel confusing.

If you’re dealing with lingering symptoms and not getting clear answers, you’re not alone—and you’re not stuck. I’ll help you understand what’s going on and give you a clear, structured path forward.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You recently experienced a concussion and want to have the best shot at a quick recovery

  • You’re still dealing with persistent symptoms months or even years after your injury

  • You feel “off” but can’t explain exactly why

  • You’ve been told everything looks normal—but you don’t feel normal

  • You’re trying to get back to your adventures, work, or daily life but keep hitting a wall

  • You feel like you “recovered,” but you’ve been on a roller coaster: feeling good for weeks or months at a time but then your energy crashes or your concussion symptoms come back and you have no idea why

WHAT’S GOING ON

After a concussion, multiple systems in your body can be affected—not just your brain.

That’s why your symptoms might include:

  • Brain fog

  • Fatigue

  • Insomnia

  • Headaches

  • Dizziness

  • Sensitivity to light or sound

  • Nervous system overwhelm

  • Emotional irritability, anxiety or depression

  • Cognitive or executive function difficulties

Most people are given isolated advice:

  • rest more

  • exercise more

  • manage stress

But without a clear plan, it’s easy to feel stuck.

HOW I HELP

We take a multi-system, integrated approach so nothing gets missed.

Your plan may include:

  • Gradual, guided return to exercise and sport based on your current capacity

  • Nervous system + emotional regulation (so your body can actually recover)

  • Visual and vestibular retraining

  • Neck and movement work

  • Cognitive integration

  • Nutritional and supplemental suggestions for metabolic support

  • Strategies and tools for managing and mitigating symptom flare-ups

Everything is:

  • personalized

  • evidence-based

  • adjusted as you progress

  • built around your real life

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all program.

It’s coaching designed around you.

  • We start with a detailed intake so I can learn and assess your symptoms, history, goals, and systems involved

  • You get a structured plan that evolves as your system adapts and capacity increases, and supports you during flares

  • We use technology for interactive programming (no stick figures or hastily scribbled notes) and for communication between our Zoom sessions (text, voice, video notes) so you’re not left guessing at anything

The goal is simple: help you heal and progress with clarity and confidence.

WHY THIS WORKS

I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a concussion specialist with a sole focus on outdoor athletes, and a performance coach.

(This means I catch things specific to outdoor athletes that are commonly missed by other providers—all the time.)

I’ve also lived the athlete side of this: training, competing, and navigating recovery in backcountry environments.

That combination matters.

You’re not getting generic advice, or “silo care” where we only address one or two systems involved in concussion.

You’re getting an integrative plan that actually fits your life and your goals, from someone who has been in your shoes.

NEXT STEPS

You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

There are a few ways to work together depending on your needs and where you’re at in the process.

We’ll figure out the right fit together.
